Another simple but effective way to improve your online presence and boost your local SEO is to utilize Google My Business which is displayed in Google’s Knowledge Panel. You may have noticed that when you search for a business, numerous results are shown. However, Google also displays a panel to the right with the business’ NAP (Name, Address, Phone) and other important information about that company. This is called the Knowledge Panel.
The first step to utilizing Google’s Knowledge Panel to boost your online presence and local SEO is to sign up for a Google My Business account. Once you’ve verified your Google My Business account, you can then start adding your business information to be displayed in Google’s Knowledge Panel. It’s important to ensure the information you enter in Google’s Knowledge Panel is correct and up to date, as incorrect or inconsistent information across the web can negatively impact your search engine ranking. This information should include your company’s name, business location, phone number, website, and business hours. You can also include a list of your products and/or services, along with customer reviews, and a description of your business.

Take your Google My Business listing further by adding a short name or entering questions and answers as a part of Google My Business’s Q&A feature.
